Tuesday, on November 12th, president-elect Donald Trump announced that Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy will lead a new “Department of Government Efficiency”. The news quickly drew global attention, especially from those who admire Musk’s work.

He is one of the richest persons in the world. Many see him as someone who can achieve what others thought was impossible. In his new government role, Musk aims to bring his unique ideas and energy to improve government operations. He said the budget for the federal government could be shrunk by at least $2 trillion. The work of the department, Trump said, will end no later than July 4, 2026. “I am confident they will succeed!” Trump said.
